ABOUT ETG
EMBRACE THE GRIND (or ETG for short) BJJ in Ipswich was founded by Jason Galyean in 2016, unfortunately, due to COVID and a world pandemic ETG hit a bump in the road. After some hard work and tough grind (Pun intended) ETG is now fully back on track and is determined to share the knowledge, wisdom and technique that has granted valuable lessons, victories and defeats.

Etiquette
We promote a very clean and comfortable training area which we intend to keep to the highest standards, we clean the mats before every training session and we ask that everyone who comes to train tries to stick to the following:
Most important - NO SHOES ON THE MATS

Cleanliness
BJJ and MMA are close contact sports please make sure you are keeping your personal hygiene high out of respect to yourself and especially your training partner - This includes keeping your nails trimmed, removing all watches and jewellery and keeping your training gear washed and clean.

Respect
this goes for the coaches no question - but also your training partner, you hold the health and well-being of your partner when drilling, make sure you listen to them, understand any injuries, go to their speed and training level and focus on how to build each other up - also make sure you tap hands before rolling.
